Welcome from the Co-chairs

ICOM Exhibitions brings together museum executives, content leaders, and individuals committed to innovation, cultural dialogue, inclusion, and the ever-evolving world of exhibitions. It serves as a platform for presenting new concepts, testing ideas, and forging strategic partnerships. Our scope extends far beyond the movement of exhibitions; it encompasses the development of ambitious ideas, the ways we share them, and the willingness to experiment in pursuit of greater impact.

As industry professionals, we have witnessed the exhibition landscape shift and adapt in response to social, political, and economic change. Through it all, cultural institutions and businesses have remained steadfast in documenting our ever-changing world. Looking ahead, one of our core goals is to foster inclusion and representation within our community, expanding not only our membership, but our perspectives, and to create new ways for members to engage in these conversations.

We are thrilled to announce that our 2026 conference will take place this October in Quebec City, Canada. Co-presented by ICOM Canada and hosted by the Musée de la civilisation, the conference will continue our commitment to lively debate across the exhibition development landscape and beyond. We hope many of you will join us for an exciting few days of discussion, dialogue, and disruption. We look forward to sharing the full announcement in the coming weeks and to seeing you there!
